The Tiger’s Whisker
“The Tiger’s whisker” is a famous Korean story about a young wife named Yun Ok who received some advice from an old man. This story teaches us that with patience and persistence, you can do anything you think impossible. The old man told Yun Ok he could help and solve the problem for her, but she needs to bring him the whisker of a living tiger. At first, Yun Ok thought and then agreed. Yun Ok traveled all alone through dangerous place and patiently works day after day to tame the tiger and get a whisker without any weapon. At the end of the story, it shows us the true meaning of courage.
The old man says “If you know how to tame a vicious tiger, surely you can do the same with your husband”, and I have mixed feelings about that. On the one hand, I don’t totally agree with the old man’s suggestion because people and animals are completely different. People have independent thinking and judgement abilities (human nature), and animals generally do not have these two features, they just act according to their own survival instinct (animal’s nature). Today, divorce is a serious problem in our society. The major reason is people lack patience, mutual understanding, and honesty, because marriage is established on these basic conditions. On the other hand, I agree with the old man suggestion; in our life, no matter what we do the first thing we have to have is “persistence”; a lot of things can’t be done overnight or a short duration to finish them. Some things may take several years, decades or a lifetime to pay to complete our ideals and dreams in our mind.
In my opinion, marriage is one lifetime commitment. The most important in a marriage is not love or wealth, but loyally and equality. Through the commitment of marriage people can undergo poverty, death, illness, or even endure the test of being separate for a long time. Marriage seems to me like a business, a trust, and a tolerance.

THE PROFILE
This profile is about Sandra White. When she was 26, She got her first-timer job at credit Commercial de France, which is a bank on Fifty-seventeen and Park Avenue in New York City .However, seven years later they laid her off due to downsizing. She got led into going on unemployment for six months. After that, she participated in a Work Experience Program and found a job as a workfare cleaner. A Street Cleaner is someone who keeps the streets clean and free of debris, for safety, aesthetic, and health reasons. Usually, no special education is required to become a street cleaner, although many hold high school diplomas, and training is provided on the job. When she begin this job that was miserably. Sometimes she crying, literally crying, because they (supervisor) treat her so poorly and she needs report at seven in the every morning.
On my opinion, she doesn’t like this job. Here is some reason to her. First, the supervisor is not very nice person; they treat you so poorly and watch you anytime. Second, when it rains, you can’t complain or go look for shelter if it’s raining hard. Third, she is working-without any gear, no gloves, no rain garment at all. They want her drenching wet. Sometime she may pick some dead animals or attacked by animals, like dogs or bees. Sometimes she thing people are very cruel. Like she said, “I’ m here because I was laid off. I didn’t ask to get laid off. It’s very sad; I’m just looking for a job”. Everyone has sad moments, life is not always smooth, I hope we bravely forward on the road of life.

Types of Job I Would Interested
What type of work would I interesting most? Problem-solving jobs, persuasive or leadership positions, or orderly, mechanical work? I think the most interest job is to do what you most want to do. So why do people work? First, the money to maintain basic living (or the pursuit of a better material life). Second, manufacturing rewarding life. Third, combined with interest. People work for what? The answer is nothing more than the following: First, for themselves and their families. Second, for the money. Third, for social vision. Fourth, in order to get a sense of accomplishment. Fifth, interests and ambitions in order. I am working on my life, so, what type of work is the best for me?
The first type of job is problem-solving jobs that are by virtue of human capacity, experience, and wisdom, to overcome difficulties and solve problems that hinder ours. One prime example of problem-solving jobs is the Doctor, are given the treatment when the patient is sick people. The most important treatment is to try to identify the cause, the cause is removed the patient rehabilitation. Another problem solving job is lawyer, the Lawyer are refers to the commission or court-appointed professional parties to assist the parties in accordance with law proceedings, court defense, and handle legal matters related subject. Finally the Adviser is scope of expert knowledge; they provide solutions to some problems, such as legal advisers, political advisers, investment advisers, military advisers, national policy adviser, real estate consultants, engineering consultants or national security adviser.

Its primary role is to lead the country and the people toward the rich and powerful. Other example is manager work with a big company. The manager needs communication, speech, and analysis skills, because the manager need to know how to persuasive with people, also solve the problem or some abilities to solve the problem.

Campground Maintenance Worker
This profile is about Marie Sprague. Marie Sprague is a worker for the U.S. National Park Service. Her job is to goes around and clean up the Seawall campground in Acadia National Park. That is on Mount Desert Island in Maine, the place where she born. Before she began working for the park service, she worked for a sardine packing company. She worked at the sardine packing company for forty years in Bar Harbor. But, one day they all shut down and she needed to find a new job. She had a friend working at the park, her friend advised Marie to take this job, then she go to National park office and get an application for that job, and till spring she got hired. That was thirteen years ago.
Campground Maintenance Worker is a seasonal job; Marie work in the middle of May until October the twelfth (just five months). Marie talks about how much more she enjoys working for the park service because she gets to be outside and is able to walk around. At the sardine packing company, she often worked from sun-up to sun-down and sometimes worked for twenty-four straight hours. In order for her to make money; she had to pack a certain amount of cases in every hour time rate. If she did not meet the quota for the hour, then they would not pay her the rate. Another issue is that the workers in the factory had no insurance, and with so many hand issues (arthritis, cut fingers, etc.), this became a large problem, especially when the factory closed down. However, now Marie loves her job because she gets to walk around outside and only works from 7AM to 3PM. Her daily tasks include cleaning bathrooms (men's and women's), picking up litter, and raking campsites. Marie's only issue with her work now is cleaning the men's restroom because sometimes men still go in and use the restroom even though the restroom says it is closed. Sometimes Marie has to be stern about telling the men to leave because they do not always think it is a problem that she is in there when they are using the restroom. Despite the restroom issue, she wishes she worked there for her entire life instead of working at the sardine company.
In my opinion, no matter what job you do, finding a job you love that is most important thing to your life. Just like Steve Job said: “you got to find what you love. And that is as true for your work as it is for your lovers. Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do”.

How to quit Smoking
I believe everyone understands quitting smoking is not an easy thing. smoking has a lot of harm to our health such as increased risk for
heart disease, stroke, cancer, high blood pressure, and 4.9 million people deaths every year because smoking. although the Government had
advocated people stop to smoke, still have so many people smoking. The following are some common ideas to help you quit smoking.

or your workplace. Because the most difficult part to quit smoking is addiction, so you are always thinking about smoking. At the moment, you
can transfer your attention such as exercises, walking, or have a trip to look the scenery outside .
Second, tell someone you want to quit smoking. Let your family, friend and neighbors know what is your plan and tell them that you need
their help and support. the more people who know your plan, the less chance to attract to smoke. For example, when you want to smoke, they
will stop you and give you some punish.
